How Outlink AI works

What the autopilot does on its own, what stays your call, and why the outreach is not spam. Product

Will this get my domain penalized, or is it spam?

No. Outlink only reaches prospects that pass a relevance, authority, and spam/PBN screen, sends from your own warmed inbox inside volume limits, and writes genuinely personalized outreach. It's the opposite of blast spam — it's the careful outreach a senior person would do, at scale.

Do I use my own inbox?

Yes. You connect your own Gmail or Outlook over OAuth and all outreach sends from there, within warm-up and deliverability limits that protect your sender reputation. Nothing goes out from a shared pool.

How does Qwoted auto-apply work?

Outlink watches your Qwoted alert emails continuously. When a journalist request matches your domain, niche, and approved topics above your relevance threshold, it drafts a quotable pitch in your voice — ready for you to submit on Qwoted in one click before the deadline, all inside the guardrails you set. Low-fit requests are skipped automatically.

Will Google penalize me for this?

Outlink earns editorial, contextual links through real outreach and digital PR — the kind of links Google wants you to have. It avoids link networks and paid-link schemes by design, and every placement is verified live so you always know what you've earned.

What does the AI do, and what do I control?

You set strategy, tone, volume, topics, and approval rules once. The AI runs discovery, qualification, personalization, sending, follow-ups, reply handling, and verification — escalating to you only when a reply needs a human decision. You review the digest; you're always in control.

What does it cost — is there a trial, and do I need a card?

Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. A card is required to start, but you aren't charged until day 3, and you can cancel anytime before then with no charge.

What happens to my data?

Your data stays yours. Outlink is GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliant, connects to Gmail, Outlook, and Search Console over OAuth, and never sells or shares your information. You can disconnect and export at any time.

Can I run this for multiple clients as an agency?

Yes. Spin up a separate workspace per client — each isolated, with its own inboxes and billing — and see them all in one agency overview. Send each client a white-labeled proof report under your own brand, on a schedule if you like, and optionally require the client to approve outreach copy before anything sends.

Pricing, plans, and billing

How the trial works, what counts against your limits, and how to change or cancel a plan. Pricing

What is the difference between the Free plan and a trial?

The Free plan lets you explore the engine — discover and score prospects, run spam/PBN checks, and see matches — but live sending stays off. A 3-day trial unlocks a full paid plan so the autopilot actually sends, follows up, handles replies, and verifies placements.

What counts toward my outreach / day limit?

Each first-touch email the autopilot sends counts against your daily limit. Follow-ups and reply handling inside an existing thread do not consume new daily outreach — only new prospects do. The limit resets every 24 hours.

What is the monthly spend cap?

It is a hard ceiling you set on what the autopilot can spend on your behalf in a month — paid placements and the data it uses to find and qualify prospects. The autopilot pauses that spend at your cap and never exceeds it. Your subscription price is separate.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from billing whenever you like — including during the trial. There is no contract and no cancellation fee; your plan simply stops renewing at the end of the period.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades apply at your next renewal so you keep the volume you have already paid for.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can delete your account and its data at any time from settings. The deletion is honored end to end — we remove your workspace data rather than just deactivating the login.

Qwoted auto-apply

How Outlink AI turns your Qwoted alert emails into drafted, quotable pitches you submit yourself. Qwoted auto-apply

How does auto-apply decide which requests fit me?

Every incoming Qwoted request is scored against your domain, niche, and the topics you've approved. Only requests above your relevance threshold get a draft — everything off-topic is skipped automatically, so you never pitch where you don't belong.

Are the pitches actually written in my voice?

Yes. Each pitch is drafted from your expertise and tone to directly answer the journalist's question with a quotable, attributable response — not a generic template. The goal is a quote an editor can drop straight into the piece.

How fast is a draft ready after a request comes in?

Outlink watches your Qwoted alerts continuously and typically drafts a matching pitch within minutes of an alert landing — well before most deadlines close. You submit it on Qwoted in one click, so the fastest-closing requests are exactly the ones you stop losing.

Does Outlink submit pitches for me?

No — and that's deliberate. Qwoted pitches are sent from Qwoted's own site (there's no submit API), so every draft always waits for you: review it, edit if you like, then submit on Qwoted in one click. The auto-apply toggle controls whether we draft automatically, never whether we send.

Which plan includes Qwoted auto-apply?

Qwoted auto-apply is included on the Growth plan and above. You can start any paid plan with a 3-day free trial — no charge until day 3, cancel anytime.

Do I need to connect my Qwoted account?

Not directly — Qwoted has no API to connect to. Instead you connect the inbox that receives your Qwoted alert emails (make sure email alerts are on in your Qwoted notification settings). Outlink reads those alerts, drafts your pitch, and you submit it on Qwoted yourself.

Outlink Radar (Chrome extension)

What Outlink Radar badges on a results page, what it sends, and who on your team can add prospects. Outlink Radar

Do I need an Outlink AI account?

Yes. Radar has nothing to show without one — every badge is your own workspace's history. Sign in from the toolbar icon with the credentials you already use at outlinkai.com, and the extension resolves your workspace and campaigns from there.

Does it cost extra?

No. Radar is included with your Outlink AI account on every plan, at no additional cost. The lookups behind the badges are deliberately cheap — batched reads of your own data, so they stay free no matter how much you scroll.

Which search engines does it work on?

Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo — including the regional Google domains (google.co.uk, .ca, .com.au, .de, .fr, .es, .it, .nl, .co.in). Those pages are enumerated in the extension's manifest; it does not request access to any other site.

What does it send about the pages I visit?

Only the domain names of the results shown on a search page, in order to match them against your workspace. Your search terms, the content of pages, and the sites you browse are never sent — and there is no analytics or tracking call behind a lookup.

Who on my team can add prospects from search?

Adding is limited to workspace owners and admins, matching the CSV importer, because it seeds real outreach. Everyone on the team sees the badges — the read-only signal is the part that stops duplicate pitches.

Is a prospect added from search treated differently?

No. A domain you add from a results page goes through the same enrichment and scoring pipeline as one Outlink's own discovery found — crawl, contact-finding, qualification. Nothing added from Radar is second-class.

Guest posting

Find contributor-friendly publications, pitch relevant topics in your voice, and track each placement. Guest posting tactic

Do you guarantee a certain number of placements?

No. Placements are editorial decisions, so we never promise a count or a Domain Rating. The AI runs the outreach loop and surfaces qualified opportunities; the editor on the other side chooses to publish.

Who actually writes the pitch?

The AI drafts the topic pitch in your voice from the site's editorial context. It sends from your own inbox so the relationship is yours, and you can review before anything goes out.

How do you keep the outreach from looking like spam?

It only pitches sites that openly accept contributors, tailors each topic to that publication, and respects the thresholds you set. The goal is a relevant pitch an editor wants, not volume.

Digital PR

Match journalist and source requests to your expertise and draft expert quotes you approve and send. Digital PR tactic

Can you get me into a specific publication?

No — coverage is always the journalist's call, and we make no claim about any particular outlet. The AI helps you respond quickly and relevantly to real requests; the decision to quote you stays with the reporter.

Does the AI send quotes for me?

It drafts the quote; you approve it and send from your own inbox. That keeps the response in your voice and the journalist relationship yours.

How does it know which requests fit me?

You define the topics and angles you can speak to, and it matches incoming source requests against that — surfacing the genuine fits instead of every request in the feed.

Qwoted

Parse the Qwoted request-alert emails in your connected inbox and draft pitches you submit in one click. Qwoted tactic

How does this connect to Qwoted?

It does not plug into Qwoted directly. You connect the inbox that already receives your Qwoted request-alert emails, and the AI reads those alerts. There is no official tie-in and no software driving a browser on your behalf.

Will it submit pitches without me?

Only if you choose auto-submit and set the rules for it. By default it drafts a pitch and waits for your one-click approval before anything is submitted.

What exactly does it read in my inbox?

It parses your Qwoted request-alert emails to match requests to your expertise and draft a response. The scope is your own inbox and those alerts — that is the whole mechanism.

Unlinked mentions & niche edits

Find unlinked brand mentions and relevant posts, then draft link-insert requests you approve and send. Unlinked mentions & niche edits tactic

What counts as an unlinked mention?

A page that names your brand or content but does not link to it. The AI finds those, plus relevant existing posts where a link to your content would genuinely fit, based on the brand terms and topics you set.

Do you promise the link gets inserted?

No. The link insert is the page owner's decision. The AI surfaces the opportunity and drafts a courteous request you approve; we never assume the insertion will happen.

Do I see the outreach before it goes out?

Yes. You approve every request before it sends, and it goes from your own inbox. The AI does the finding and drafting; the send is on your approval.
